Established from 1912 in Damery, in the heart of the vineyard, close to Epernay, the Champagne House J. de Telmont is one of the last familial Champagne Houses.
In heritage of a winegrowers’ family, the House J. de Telmont owns 36 hectares of vineyard located in prestigious villages, where are grown the 3 grape varieties of Champagne: Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay.
Coming from a family of winegrowers, the Lhopitals family is at the head of the Champagne House J. de Telmont.
Currently the House J. de Telmont is headed by Bertrand Lhopital. With his sister Pascale and his brother in law Philippe, the fourth Lhopital generation is working day after day so that J. de Telmont keeps its rank among the 20th most important Champagne Houses.
